Beach Nudists.
Tell the group what nude beach you go to, where the location is, how often do you go, and what you like and don't like about it. Or tell us whatever the hell is on your mind lol. I put this group together to find out what beaches around the world are fun to go to in case people are traveling and wondering what a particular beach is like.

Return to DiscussionsThere is a cluster of nude beaches on the western end of the Algarve, with nine west of Lagos. The coast is rugged, with high cliffs pierced by beautiful sandy coves and beaches. You can enjoy the sun and soft sand or explore the rocks and caves along the back of the beaches. Each one has its own character with some fascinating geology. My favourites are Balichenear Sagres and Furnas near Salima. I stay at Carol's Naturist Guesthouse which is handy for all the nude beaches. It's owned by Ceekay123 here on TN.
You're right about there being great nudist beaches there Olly. I haven't been to southern Portugal for some time, nor to Carol's place(I intend to though at some point), but always found great places for nude days out. Most are backed by high and dramatic cliffs which make a great backdrop and offer some shelter should the wind pick up.
The Atlantic coast in this corner of Portugal was good for nudists when I was there too. If you went there from Vale del Bispo it seemed like any beach away from settlement was nudist friendly. We went for some long walks along the coast there, nude all the way, the further north we went there were less people and zero swimsuits, every beach user we met was nude.
The law in Portugal regarding nudity is similar to the UK, its not illegal but people can complain if they find it 'offensive', though I suspect the Portuguese legal interpretation is more laidback.
We have been to Barril Beach near Tavira.
Staying in a (textile) appartment a few Kilometers away, we drove to a parking lot, then either walked or took an old train that gets you out the Island. When at the beach, head to the right where you find more and more people enjoying nudity.
We liked it.
