Let me show you the scars on my tongue from biting it as I read your ridiculous posting. Instead of spewing false information, why not go to the beach so you can see many straight couples, straight singles, gay couples and gay singles who are not having sex at Rooster Rock. I've been there probably a dozen times over a number of years, and I can assure you that just like any nude beach there is a wide spectrum of people and behaviors at Rooster Rock.

"LOL" this post has been funny! The story about "Rooster Cock" is so funny and absolutely incorrect!The correct nick name for Rooster Rock is "Cock Rock". Named so because of the phallic looking monolith that the park is named after. No it is not a gay old men beach only and no there is not wild sex all over the place! The rangers at the park patrol the place all the time. Many couples visit all summer and have a good time. They also bring children. Many single women visit as well. No this place is not a creepy gay sex beach as the boat buyer said. He has never been there and is most likely never will be. That's a good thing. I've been going to Rooster Rock and Collins beach since the 70's and have seen it all at both beaches. Both are great. People who have sex out there normally just go into thd woods to do what they feel they need to do. No big deal. Most of the time people are just soaking up the sunshine and beauty that is the Columbia River Gorge. Come on out by boat or foot or kayak or float plane or canoe or whoever you wish, you will love the place! If not, just stay home and miss all the fun.
Last summer while vsiting the area I made a couple of trips to Collins Beach and loved it. Really liked Portland in general. Next time I will definitely hit Rooster Rock.

When I was there I hit both Rooster Rock and Suave and Bagby Hot Springs. Loved it all there!

Collins is on Sauvie Island and is a short drive west of Portland. It is along the river and covers at least a mile of shoreline.
