Furry or smooth?
Return to DiscussionsYes we all have beards. But what about below the neck line? Some nudists don't think they are truly naked untill all the body hair is removed. Call them Smooth. Yes even with beards. Others see nudism (or naturism) as only natural, with nature's body hair. Call them Furry. I've been smooth but now I'm furry.
Which are you? Oh, and there is a third option - body hair but no pubic hair.

Well, We are nudists so it should be there for all to see. I did my own survey. Of those of us with open photos, the vast majority (four out of every five of us) keep our body hair along with our beards. What else would we expect..

I am not very furry, but what I do have I keep (other than a little maintenance trimming of the junk.). Otherwise, furry is pretty and natural. My husband is super furry all over and I'd have it no other way.

Well I've gone against the trend. I'm naturally very hairy. But at Christmas I fancied a change. I took it all off. Now there isn't a single hair anywhere on my body. I shave from the neck down every morning.
Update, still no body hair after nerely 3 months.

I prefer to be smoothbelowthe chin. As a matter of fact I don't have very much hair to shave on my body Arms and legs are more of a chore, but they are quickly done in the shower. The reason for shaving for me is that I like the way the muscles look under the skin. It's nice to be defined and it feels sexy.

After being totally smooth for 11 months I fancied a change. So I just stopped shaving. Now I'm starting to get qite hairy again.

FURRY. Definitely.I am bearded and have very much hair on my arms, chest, pubic region , ass, and legs. I like the feel and look of it.I shaved my arms, chest and pubes some years back, and I felt the resulting look was not attractive on me. As the hair grew back, the stubble was very irritating. When I go to naked resorts, I sometimes feel like an anomaly---being the one of the few hairy guy amidst a bunch of shaved bodies. I like displaying all my man-fur, though. Its distinctive and very male. If someone makes a negative comment about all my fur, I have the perfect reply for them that makes them retreat instantly.

That was then (8 months ago). This spring I started shaving my body again every morning. Full beard and totally smooth from the neck down. I did a sort of survey on the beach at Cap d'Agde. All the women were shaved. Of 200+ men I observed, well over two thirds shaved their pubes, including a few with otherwise hairy bodies. They (and their bits) were all shapes and sizes.
