Well said Vspikev. I've been to many nudist beaches, resorts and private parties. I have NEVER seen a true nudist with an erection. That's not to say I haven't seen erections, but there's always a sexual undercurrent.

Clearly not on the website to meet nudists and just want to show your self fully eroused not only is it disrespectful but I'm sure 100 percent of the true nudists don't want to see some horny man with a hard on. It's just not decent behaviour
That should be an obvious answer....Erections are obviously sexual. The female nude body just like the male mody is not in itself sexual, women do not get erections visibly and therefore it is never a problem. men can show their full bodies in the nudist community without having an erection..IF you get an erection whenever you see a naked female OR you feel that showing erections is necessary, then your NOT a true nudist, you are an EXHIBITIONIST, there is a difference.
Dear NudismI do not understand!!!The erection for men is a real nature, why we need to deny it?we can not go for fight with the nature.some of you mentioned that in many beaches they did not see anything, but i think it is not true.we can not fight with nature and we should not lie to our self.when the men see the beautiful naked women, his penis be come Strong and this is normal, why we should deny it?please explain to me and please be respectful, this is a question not fight?thank you
Well, it is part of the naturist/nudist code of conduct that men will not display an erection as a nudist.This type of behavior is why public acceptance and opening of public lands has been long debated and slow to happen. Erections in the nudist setting are inappropriate because it is viewed as threatening behavior and should not be part of nudist activities. It is not to say erections never occur but when they do the code of conduct says to cover up until the erection subsides. Sexual behavior and being a nudist are separate things because nudity is about enjoying our freedoms to enjoy each other in a non-threatening environment that is excepting to all. But the erection crosses the line because it is clearly a sexual occurrence, and is aggressive behavior. Again everyone is to be respected and given their freedom to be able to relax. Erections help to fuel the public debate that nudist and nude activities are sexual deviants! That could not be further from the truth, and that is why nudists/naturists will argue and defend the separation of such behavior. Nudists need to advocate for themselves to insure that we can enjoy our freedoms, and the erection needs to not be part of the nudist code of conduct. So please keep your erections under wraps.

Because an erection is a sign of sexual arrousal. A flaccid penis does not show any arrousal. And being that this site is designed for wholesome nude interaction and not sexual interaction, it is unacceptable to display things of sexual nature. You have a much more difficult time determining if a woman is sexually arroused simply by looking at a picture of her vagina. Especially if she's not in some provocative pose. Which, mind you, aren't allowed on this site as well.
An erection is a sexual thing and true nudist's are not into having sex we are not swingers or porn stars so no need to show that stuff. If you want to show that stuff you are on the wrong website.

.......man why would you even want to show an erection, that is childish , if your a true nudist you won't get an erection no matter what you see, if you want to do that then go like was said to ts and have a ball, but don't bring it here, I am a pd certified member in both and when I feel horny I go there, when I want top be a nudist and talk to nudist then I obey the rules.........Ruhl
I was going to remain silent on this one, but too many of you seem to be making assumptions or using words like "always", that are not necessarily fact.
1. Erections are not ALWAYS a sign of sexual arousal. Men can become aroused (i.e., erect) for other reasons too. These reasons can be medical, when discussing or witnessing things that they are very enthusiastic about (I've seen them happen when watching a sporting event that's getting intense and their team is close to scoring), when he is dreaming or has just awoken from a dream, feels good with the sun on his skin, etc. Women's nipples get erect when they are sexually aroused, but just because they are sticking out does not mean there is anything sexual involved. (Ever been in a cold room or draft?) As to the comment about erections being "threatening": yes, a man might threaten with an erection, but just because his penis is hard doesn't mean his intention (if he even has one regarding it at the time) is threatening. (intent vs. interpretation)
2. Men shave in various ways, patterns and areas for a number of reasons, and just because he shaves his pubic area does not mean he's doing it for exhibitionistic reasons. Maybe he's prone to jock itch, feels fresher with that area but still enjoys his chest hair, has a partner that likes it that way, etc. Just because YOUR eye is drawn to a shaved groin does not mean that was his intention. (Maybe it's indicative of you having a sexual issue that you're eyes are drawn to a smooth pubic area? Are you sure you're applying the "perv" label to the right person?)
3. I have known men to be reported for pictures because someone says they are erect when, in fact, they are not. It could be due to camera angle, physiology/proportions, movement, etc. Do you know the man and his specific anatomy well enough to know for absolute surety?
Many of these "True nudists do/do not..." statements are showing narrow thinking. Your experiences (e.g. "I've never seen...") may not accurately reflect reality at large. If a man is openly masturbating or doing something to deliberately maintain an erection on a nude beach or a TN chat room, then I'd agree that it's inappropriate. But sometimes men have to scratch or their bodies may react. Be an adult and be equal-handed: if you're calling for men to be booted just he becomes tumescent or idly touches that area for a moment, then boot any woman that even momentarily touches her breast, has a shaved groin, or even looks like she has erect nipples.
Making assumptions about another person's intent is no different that when people who don't understand nudism assume it's a sexual fetish/always about sex. Think about it.
