It isn't a foolish question because TN has had trouble with profile photo uploads. I think (hope) it is resolved now. My picture count looks to be up to date (almost).

I sincerely thank everyone for the answers . I would be pleased to have you all as friends , even in real life and not only virtually on this site . certainly the problem does not make me lose sleep , just that (perhaps with a little narcissism ) makes me happy to know how many have seen my pictures . thanks again to all of you . a hug.
