shortage of cans now in U.S.

We had the same problem in the UK when the pubs were closed. Everyone got their beer from the supermarkets. The breweries could brew it but the canning factories couldn't can it fast enough. Even so (as I was told) the alcohol sales in supermarkets exceeded the Christmas peak.

It's not just beer folks. Sam's has been out of Coke Zero for over two months ... due to the aluminum shortage I was told. People (me included) need to turn in their garbage bags full of cans.
