Return to DiscussionsNot to my taste buds. I get a seriously bad headache after just one botle. However, the original Budweiser from the Czech Republic is actually a pretty good beer when consumed in its home country. You can get it here in the States under the name Budvar but it is not quite as good tasting probably due to aging. I have purchased it at Total Wine. The Czech brewery had the to change the name due to a lawsuit, despite the fact that it was the originator of a beer called Budweiser. Anheiser Busch is pretty open that millennials tend to stay away from the U.S. version.
New to the group, but also use Untappd - name NCStoutlvr. If you are coming to NC, I'd recommend the Beer NC app. No matter where you are in the state just click on the app and it will tell you how far to the nearest brewery, can check in to keep track of which ones you've been to and can also go to the brewery's website to see what beers they have. Also directions how to get there. As you can tell by my user name, I like Stout.
