The Algarve, Portugal
Return to DiscussionsIn the southern end of Portugal, The Algarve is further south than most of Europe. It cirtainly catches the sun. I found an all-inclusive guest house in the South West corner (Google "Carols Naturist Guest House"), run by a friendly English couple with good food and endless free beer. It is in quiet countryside with two lovely nudist beaches within walking distance. I could walk naked in the countryside too. So I keep going back. I posted 2 photos in the group's album. One is the one put in the group banner. It was taken in my back garden. The other is on Praia do Zavial, one of those beaches. (You might get round to seeing them if group admin ever approves them. But he hasn't visited TN for 5 months, so don't hold your breath)

I'm here, in Portugal again (4th time this year), Sun's shining.
Yes It was warm enough in November to get an all-over tan and to hike naked. I did cause a stir near a hippy beach. I decided not to cover up untill I got back to the beach (also used by nudists) and was just walking the last bit along a track to the beach. Along came a minibus so I dived behind a bush, going round the back of it as they drove along the fromt. I could hear girls laughing as it went by. When I thought it had gone, I stepped back onto the track. The minibus had stopped and the girls cheared. Then we went our seperate ways.
Ijust came back fromtwo weeks there. The place is brilliant and close to their previous guesthouse and all those nude beaches set in unspoilt countryside. I'm looking forward to yet more naked walks along the cliff tops and sunbathing on those beaches
