Return to DiscussionsBeen to the beach the last two weekends....as soon as you cross the dune at the Little Mud Creek boat ramp, just to the right ( south ) begins the nude section....there was a sign indicating where the clothed/nude area begins...Yay! no mile long walk....seems official as there were ATV tracks leading away from it...So I'm guessing it was placed there by the St Lucie County sheriff....Enjoy all....it's a great beach and not overly crowded...
Actually the signs were made and placed by volunteers from Treasure Coast Naturists. I don't believe it is officially recognized by the county, but as long as there are no complaints they tolerate it. Having said that, a few weeks ago someone wandered north of the Little Mud Creek crossover and startled a resident who promptly called the Sheriff.
PLEASE DO NOT GO NUDE NORTH OF THE CROSSOVER!! All it would take is a few more members of the ID10T club to ruin it for all of us and have them enforce the original boundaries which would mean the 3/4 mile walk to the south. On the other hand, maybe once the main parking lot is opened again they can extend the north end of the clothing optional section a little bit.
Luv2benude.......Pretty sure the Blind Creek Beach section is now officially recognized and sanctioned. Not sure if you were referring to that or if you were talking about the smaller section just north, due to this rework. I don't live in the area(yet) but was there the end of Feb and was highly annoyed with the temp closure. So I have been monitoring this group/posting cause I will be there again in Feb 2026!! Will also most likely be moving near there when I retire, within the next 5 years! Very much looking forward to that!
I was speaking of the section from the Little Mud Creek crossover south. Yes, the section from the FPL Nuke plant to about halfway between the main entrance and the Little Mud Creek crossover has been officially designated by St Lucie County . Shortly after the main parking lot was closed, the nudists migrated a bit north to almost the Little Mud Creek crossover

Just to clarify somewhat, attached is 2 pictures. One is the sign entering the crossover at Little Mud Creek that shows the official boundaries. Treasure Coast Naturists asked the County to extend the boundary of the Clothing Optional area north to the Little Mud crossover. To the best of my knowledge, and as a member of TCN, as they keep us pretty much informed of such things, nothing official was done. That is not unusual as the county has taken a hands off approach in the past as long as there are no complaints. The signs mentioned in this post were put up by volunteers of TCN, not the county. Obviously lewd behavior or walking to the north of the crossover will cause problems and enforcement of the official boundaries. I hope this alleviates some of the confusion
