L Street Beach nude?
Return to DiscussionsI was a regular there for many years. Yes, there was a great men's nude beach, 2 handball courts, a steambath, two shower rooms and a second floor nude solarium. It was also the site of the polar bear plunge with nudity for all men. Then women insisted on participating with the men instead of setting up their own plunge. Of course the suits went on. In an early renovation the steam was replaced by a miniscule sauna. Finally beach nudity was prohibited. An irreversible loss for Boston I am afraid.
