Braless Covid
Return to DiscussionsIve realised that a lot of friends have increasingly been going braless during all the time locked-up at home. Maybe its one nice outcome that people have been dressing more for comfort over the last several months without the pressure to adhere to regular social standards when it comes to clothing. I have lots of virtual work meetings online and the dress-code there has definitely become more relaxed over time. To start with most people dressed up like they would for meetings in person, the real change came during the summer when it was warm and being more casual was definitely preferred choice for almost everyone. Some were particularly causal and I of course got away with as little as possible, depending on the meeting, being able to Donald-Duck or even be nude occasionally. I never wore a bra (I never wore one before COVID anyway) but I noticed many of my female colleagues also ditching them during the summer and Im glad to say its a trend which seems to have kept up even though summer is now a distant memory. So it seems friend and colleagues alike have been wearing them less and less, I wonder whether this will continue in the coming months (years) as things return back to normal and people return to the physical office? What do people think? Have you noticed the same as me?
thanks for this interesting article - as we go back to working online again I will pay closer attention to my female colleagues and see if I can tell if they are wearing bras less. You said that you noticed it more in teh summer? Do you think women wear bras to keep warm sometimes?
Kind of the oposite really, i think they're particularly uncomfortable in warm weather so they chose to ditch them if possible. Then when the temperaure is lower again many revert to wearing them because it's 'normal'.
Hi Jayne!
Hope you're doing as good as always.
Yes, I've noticed some people has relaxed dresscode in summertime during COVID.
I am always donald ducking during the video conferences, but never saw a naked person at them... (how did it happen in your case? lol).
About braless girls, here it's usual that women don't wear a bra in warm weather... specially young women... but I've noticed that's true even when they feel comfortable and warm at home, regardless the season... it's a question of relax and comfort... the same reason why we enjoy going naked... don't you think so?
I never understood why my ex-girlfriend refused to leave the house without a bra, but as soon as she was home, that sucker was off. Often around the house, she wore nothing but a T-shirt if anything at all. In public, she wouldn't even show cleavage. Made no sense to me but, whatever.
