Women looking at other women
Return to DiscussionsI enjoy going braless whenever I can. But like another person said you get dirty looks from other women. I don't understand why? When I see another woman going braless I smile and kinda nod my head. Why are so many other women ashamed of seeing someone braless? Are they jealous? Snooty? Or just mean and judgemental?.
Parental and societal conditioning. The female breasts, especially in north America, are
still objectified and sexualized. That is why the Top-free and Free the Nipple movements are so important in "normalizing" the breasts and also towards equality of the sexes. The other thing is that the younger and earlier a girl starts to wear a bra, the sooner the breasts will lose their firmness and elasticity. Let us not forget that is also a major contributor to breast cancer!!
Thank you all for your comments. I agree with them. It's just such a shame that another woman is willing to shame other women just because they choose to go braless. I will continue to do it as often as I can. Like I was today, although the wind decided to show my breasts off a little..... LOL I do have to say it felt good. Free the nipple!!!
Before my wife and I got into nudism we used to be those guilty ones who judged. As a man I'm not sure why I was negative about it. I mean duh I like breast. Now that we are in nudism we now understand nudism and the comfortable freedom one has from textiles we have changed our way of thinking. My wife is still scared to go braless in public.
Wow, so much to say here. I am a man, but if I were a woman, I would not wear a bra unless my boobs were big and droopy. If that were the case, a bra would make them look better under clothes, so it would make sense to wear one in public. On the other hand, a waitress who recently served me had B sized boobs and wasn't wearing a bra. The way they jiggled under her T-shirt mesmerized me! As a man, I don't wear underwear, not even under my kilt. My ex-girlfriend refused to ever leave the house without a bra even though she often went without panties, but as soon as she was home that sucker was off. Her boobs were A-B in size. She wanted bigger boobs and later got implants, but thought that it was trashy to let them be seen regardless of size. This confused the hell out of me! If I were a woman ashamed of having small boobs, when I got implants I would want to show them off! If I wasn't ashamed of small boobs, I wouldn't get the implants in the first place and wouldn't mind having the small ones be seen. She refused to wear anything low-cut or revealing in public, either before or after implants. Around the house, she often wore nothing but a T-shirt, if anything at all. She loved to be naked, as long as it wasn't in public. This is obviously a matter of social conditioning and likely, religious programming. To me, it is contradictory to want big boobs but not want anybody to see them, even covered. It made no sense to me whatsoever! She was also one of those women who looked down on other women who went without a bra in public. Yes, she constantly complained about them. She often complained "her boobs are popping out there" even when the boobs in question were restrained by a bra that allowed cleavage to be seen. This seems to go beyond personal insecurity. I had another girlfriend who had small perky boobs and never wore a bra. She didn't even own one! She complained about women who wore sorts short enough to show their butt cheeks. So what? It has been said that women will never be equal to men until they are willing to walk down the street with a bald head and beer belly and still think they look good. That's the point. Attitude is everything! The way that men and women think about life is different. It seems to me that women will always judge other women for any reason that they can invent. In the mean time, the men that these women are trying to impress couldn't give a damn.
You just reminded me of a very old saying. But remember there are exceptions to every rule ;-)
Why would a woman rather strip naked in front of a group of men rather than a group of women? Because men are grateful, women are judgemental.

Probably jealous because you have better boobs than them, I love seeing women going braless letting there boobs hang free.
