Buff Gardeners
This group is intended for those who enjoy the natural aspect of gardening, and don't feel the need to cover their natural state while tending their plants. This group may be used to exchange ideas, and success stories, and of course...recipes, that have been brought fourth from the earth.
There's going to be a lot of work to do in the garden and yard
Return to Discussionsit has rained so much this year that the yard is water logged and the garden looks like a bomb hit it, may throw a giant tarp over it till next year. actually can't wait for sunny spring want to buy a bunch of roses this year, also looking foward to cutting the grass when it turns green and grows.
My yard and garden have drained pretty well, so I've been able to spend a few sunny afternoons (like yesterday) out making preparations. I pretty much have all the freeze debris out of the yard and piled up now, did a little tilling in the veggie garden. In a couple of more weeks I'll start back in with vegetables and some color plants in other beds.
I can't wait!!

bought some grass seed now its rainning yard still looks like a lost cause but once i get the seed down and the trees and plants start to bloom it will look alive again. i wish it would stay spring forever fall and winter stay to long..
I guess yard work is really never ending, lol. I've rebuilt pretty much all my flowerbeds now, got the small vegetable garden in, and have the grass coming back. Everytime I finish one thing, I see another 2 that need to be done!
