Return to Discussionsall the time spent in my small double fenced in veggie garden has been in the buff this year. I planted 5 kinds of peppers, 4 hot , 1 sweet, some gourds, dill, 2 celery plants ( i like the strong flavor of home grown for cooking) 4 Roma tomatoes and some burpless cukes and a row of multi-branching sunflowers. most of it is mulched with grass clippings from my untreated lawn. now just need the right mix of rain, sun , and effective fence to keep the critters at bay. One less ground hog to chew things he met his maker with the help of my 22 yesterday.
