It was warm enough I did the 1/3 of it which is out of view of the road in the buff. As a few more bushes fill out I will be able to do about 1/2 of the 2 1/4 hour project nude. The front yard I wore my new barely there shorts. I cut a new pair before starting
An old pair of boxers crotch cut out sides slit, so basically an waist band with flaps of fabric front and back. They pass for shorts for drivers passing by.

Do you turn them sideways after you cut out the crotch so that the fly is on a side which you cut out and you don't have to worry about your cock accidentally sticking out of the fly in front?

One more question, do you use boxers as underwear with shorts or pants or only as what I call "onlywear" by themselves when you have to be covered but not really dressed.

i go commando year round. Shorts that have sewn in mesh liners get the crotches of the mesh snipped so that they still provide some protection from skid marks and drips but do not restrict my equipment from hanging free

NO they are simply an elastic waist band with flaps of fabric hanging front and back . I slit the sides to provide the maximum freedom of movement without any restricting.
Please try making your own and and put them on. you have be obsessed with mine forever.

I have worn something like this in the house and in the back yard but not out front since I live on a busy through street.
Some were made from boxers, and when I did so I turned the crotch to the side and then opened the sides so there wouldn't be an semi-open fly i front.
When I used an old pair of gym shorts, there was no need to rotate.
