early morning chores
Return to DiscussionsBesides the normal watering the dozen or so potted plants all in view of the road, this morning i needed to clean up some over the weekend
storm damage . One dying maple tree dropped a 4ft long 10" dia. semi rotted limb that shattered into a pulpy mess. I needed the shovel
to clean that pile from my front steps. Then i got the Tupperware pitcher out with it's hand friendly handle to pick the first of the black raspberries from the wild vines which grow along the edge of my rural setting property. I watch out for the thorns on the brambles as i pick them in the buff.
Chores done nude sure are lighter to do.
I hear that and I concur! Who'd have thought that mowing and weed-eating could ever be considered a pleasure? All one need do is disrobe and it lightens the load and the mindset, making a chore so much easier. Okay, it doesn't hurt that our home sits on a little bitty piece of a nude resort, I admit.
Watch out for those pricks!
