Still mowing nude!
Return to DiscussionsToady is Oct 29 and I am in northern Indiana and I just came in from mowing a big portion of my lawn in nothing but my Crocs and glasses. I have one more section to do after a short break.
And this might not be the end of nude yardwork , if the extended forecast holds next Tues and Weds look to be just as warm. Sun and mid 60s F
A real treat this far north in November
is your house / property in a secluded area or are you out in the open - cars passing by able to view the "panorama"?
I live rural and own about 3.3 acres the house sits on about 1 acre lot with the other 2.3 acres on the south side of the county drainage ditch. I have allowed it to go to woods and the field to the north of me has also reverted to woods. Directly west is an established woods. So only the east side is open and I have done quite a bit of planting and a bit of fence that provides enough shelter from view of the rare car on the county gravel road. So about half if it i can mow in the buff without worry of being seen. The front portion i often rake or other quiet chores I just keep an ear for the rare care. I think over the years i have been spotted but people seem to be fine with a live and let live attitude and have not told me to stop. I don't tell them how to live on their rural properties either.
