Beautiful day for a paddle
Return to DiscussionsIt was warm with high thin clouds and a slight breeze. Headed out for a short paddle in a creek up the road a bit. Put in, paddle away from the road and got naked. Saw a few gators on the shore sunning themselves. Stayed away from them because it is mating season and my kayak is green so I didn't want to mislead them thinking I wanted to mate, lol. Saw an eagle flying overhead and a few hawks. Came up to I 95, probably the most heavily traveled road in FL and said what the heck and paddled under the bridge naked wondering how many people up there in the air conditioned SUVs, would rather be down here paddling naked. Just another wonderful day on the water.
