Your Experience At The Resort
Return to DiscussionsI don't have time to read through all of the threads right now, so I hope that those of you who have spent time at the resort would tell and/or show me more about your experience and the resort.
Here's one place to begin:
How long was your trip to get there, and where did you travel from?
I have some disabilities, and it's hard for me to travel long distances or even short distances. What's worse, airlines, security agencies and even the general public often are not very considerate or helpful to us disabled veterans.
I posted a review on trip advisor and have had 65,000 hits in two years. It wouldn't be relevant to you though. We flew to Marseilles for a visit to Provence. After staying in Aix and Arles, we drove on a rainy morning to the Cap, I guess a four hour drive. It had cleared by then, so I went to the beach for a few hours, and then we drove to Montpelier to continue our trip. I guess Montpelier is the closest airport, if you can find a flight to it.
I am at the naturiste village from the US. 4,000 + miles away, my second time. First time, US to Paris and a train to Adge and taxi to the village. longer and cost more.
This time was a flight to London Heathrow and bus to London Gatwick, flight from Gatwick to Montpelier, train to adge, and bus to the village. Cheaper, more changes but less travel time. If I was battling a Disability I would go for the less moving parts one city and a train ride unless sitting is an issue for long.
Hope any of this helps your decision.

The posts here have been very helpful; thanks to all of you for sharing your thoughts. I'm not sure I can do any of it because of my disabilities. Just a flight from here to the East or West coast of America would do me in. I would certainly have to take a break on the East coast here before continuing on.
Right now, I have been checking out the "resorts" in my neighboring states and in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area, because they are a fairly easy commute...even driving. Actually, I think flying would be a bigger hassle. I would love to check out a place in NM next year, but I'm not sure there are any. I will definetly be going to the one(s) in Colorado, and I would love to fly over to Arizona or Nevada. The problem with being in Amarillo or Lubbock, is there are no direct flights. They are easy plane changes in Dallas, though, and the flight there is only 45 minutes.
My favorite place, which I would call a campground, is between Oklahoma City and Tulsa. I would move there! I love the small towns around it, the wonderful people and beautiful countryside. I would actually put a cabin there, if it were a few hundred miles closer to Amarillo.
I think instead of going to the France resort, I may go to one in Florida or Mexico. I have always wanted to visit Florida!
I wish there was a place like the French resort on the Gulf Coast of Texas. If I had a million dollars, I would open one. I guess I better go make a million, huh?
