Return to DiscussionsI don't have any Mustangs now, but I have owned in the past, in no particular order: 1967 Convertible, 289, C4, originally a Dusk Rose paint code S; 1990 GT hatchback and a 1989 2.3 hatchback. I still have a Ford, a 2014 Escape 2.0 Ecoboost, All wheel drive. This Escape is faster than my 1990 GT was.
i used to have a 66 with a 289 Hipo in it and got to the point of sell it and go to college or find a job to work the rest of my life. I made the wrong choice and went to college grin. Now my daily driver is an 05 gt convertible. Every now and again I get the notion to work on it and add this or that. One big plus for ponies is they seem to be made for add ons. Mine was born on st paddy so day in 05... Lady called asked if I wanted to change the color as it was odd to have a wind veil blue pony made on st Patrick's. Hence I made the plate bluepny.
