So do I. If I am praying at other times or reading the Bible or devotional material at home I am often but not always nude. I almost never wear a tie for anything. I do usually wear a collared shirt to mass with slacks in the winter and shorts in the summer.

we're born nude, Adam and Eve lived in the nude... I'm guessing God doesn't care as long as you are devout.

I say my nighttime prayers nude. Does God really care that I am not wearing a tie?

I hope not! I brought my breviary on my last nude getaway and did lauds nude.

If God created us He certainly knows what's underneath our clothes, so I certainly don't think anyone needs to be dressed up to pray! I just wish I could have gone to Mass starkers and I find it highly pretentious all those vestments the priests wear! Clothes can be quite a distraction while praying , especially "fashionable" women's garments, and I've been strongly suggesting we all have a simple robe which we put on when we come to Mass which unifies and makes us all equal in common prayer and worship.

There is a bit in Corinthians about women having to cover their heads in church, but I dont think there is any mention of other clothing. I guess thats definitive.
