Return to DiscussionsI've been to both Lake of the Woods and Valley View and had good experiences at each of them.
Lake of the Woods is nice, but you may be better received if you are part of a couple (man/woman or man/man).
-Was invited to a cookout/dance at LOTW; my friend and I sat around chatting with people
Went to Valley View (for the car show) as a single guy and had no problem at all.
-Was more sociable than usual by starting lots of conversations with honest/open questions.
