Return to DiscussionsIs the terminology "roundhead" for circumcised and "cavalier" for intact universal in the English-speaking world, or is it just British?
When I was at school, a boy conducted a small survey on this issue, asking every pupil he saw whether they were roundheads or cavaliers. In my naivete I thought he was referring to political sympathies in relation to the Civil War, and I replied Cavalier, which in the sense in which I now realise he intended was wrong. Of course, if he had been in my own class, he could have known the answer, because he would have seen me in the showers.
Well it was done a long time ago, so plenty of time to heal. Looking at Circlist, it mentions a "Tug and chop" method where the skin is pulled forward over the glans and then cut.
I've been able to enjoy many nude days at home lately due to the warm weather.
So nice to enjoy time naked at home. As the heat wave hit us, I thought being a naturist was such a benefit - I just need to be mindful of any conf call involving having the video on! It would be even better outdoors or with other naturists.
Tug and chop sounds like a quick way to circumcise. Comparing from what I read or seen online, it seems that my circumcision is more likely to have been done "freehand"
Yes, have to keep a shirt and shorts handy for calls and answering the door. The article on Circlist gives some history or circumcision in the UK and percentage by age group. Accurate stats are hard to find, I was surprised circumcision was more common in the older age bracket.

That's a well document article. I'll read it in the evening when I had a bit more time - I am less surprised more guys in the the older age bracket tend to be circumcised.
If you had a "tug and chop" sounds like you benefited from a good tug to have a nice tight result. Do you have any frenulum left?
I always have a pair of shorts and t-shirt at hand. Recently a delivery guy knocked on my door - I opened the window bare chested. And when I opened the door I had a tshirt (and shorts) on. I wonder if my neighbourg routinely enjoys time in the buff when he's on his own . He answered the door before... hidden behind the door or in his pants
Not really about Roundheads, but following up on the comment about having clothing available to answer the door: my window-cleaner never rings at the front door to be let in at the back, but climbs into the backyard, via the electricity sub-station next door. I realised that sooner or later he would do that when I was sun-bathing naked, and it happened last week. He apologised for interrupting my sun-bathing and I replied that I didn't mind if he didn't mind.
