Return to Discussionssince i wasn't allowed to vote on being cut i thought i would voice my opposition to that fatal day that i was snipped, i have made several attempts at restoration ( lots of web sites) but it is a long process but may try again in the fall. my choice would be no !
Best decision of my life!! Haven't regret it for one single second! Had it done about 6 years ago when I was 26. Had it done by choice, because I like the look and feel of it. (There was no medical reason) Still so happy that I took that step! What a shame I didn't do it sooner!
Like Martin I was the only boy in my class who was cut and showering was sometimes embarrassing, with the looks and questions etc. I have always preferred it though. As time has gone on i found that many friends are cut which makes for a special bonding
I was cut when i was 18 and am so glad that i was. really rare to be cut in the UK, particularly with guys around my age,and as a result often have people asking me about it, which i'm more than happy to do. i've found the advantages of being circumcised to far outweight the disadvantages and only wish that more guys in the UK thought the same.
Like connaught and cutcub i was cut as an adult at the age of 40 .... i didnt know it was a good option to be cut as an adult and thought it would be very painful and would look chewed up......i had it done for cosmetic reasons and also because the skin was huge. It was baggy and got in the way when having sex.... like paddling with your socks on!!! the big foreskin would roll forwards and get in the way, also it would pull condoms off to.
I grew up not hating my foeskin but ever since i knew the difference between cut and uncut i wanted it to be circumcised, so the big head would always be bare and no loose bunched up skin behing the head.
I was lucky to have the choice to be cut and feel sorry for guys who feel cheated because they didnt have a choice and are unhappy with their cut status!!! i agree that a boy should have the choice to be cut especially in the states where more boys are cut than uncut ...Kids can be cruel and will make coment and about being cut or uncut depending on where you live ie uncut in the states where most other boys are cut or cut in europe where most are uncut...
For those who were cut at birth or as young lads the question of loss of senitivity .....my self i lost some sensitivity, but that was because i had 2 cuts... the first was a complete screw up and the whole of the more sensitive frenulum area was removed, so i had a second cut to improve tightness and sensitivity, which is far better now!!! You may lose some sensations but you gain lots of others .... sex is amazing now and im really happy i was cut ....

Circumcised as a small child, I don't remember. I have no regrets. Easy low maintenance model :-)
I do regret not having my son circumsized as a baby, he had to get it done when he was about 7, foreskin would not retract. More traumatic when one can remember the op.
