I want to get it done purely for cosmetic reasons, would love to hear back in particular from any females who think I should go for it. There is also the question of style of cut. Should I get this done?

I had an elective circumcision just over three years ago. Like you, I had no problem with my foreskin. It was rather thick, and long enough to cover the glans entirely when soft. I prefer the look of the exposed glans both on myself and on other men, and kept my foreskin pulled back most of the time, especially when naked as it made me feel totally nude. Eventually I decided to be circumcised.
There were no problems. The operation, done at a private clinic, was quick - the actual surgery took about 45 minutes under local anaesthetic, and it was more or less healed up within three weeks. I had an idea about the style I wanted, but the surgeon advised a different style, based on his experience. There is the old question of loss of sensitivity. I have noticed no loss, but then, I 'd already had an uncovered glans for a long time.
It's as much a mental thing as anything else: if it's what you really want, then you won't be happy until it's done. Several other guys I have chatted with say the same.
As a brit and not being one of only about 9% of the UK male population to be circumciesd I elected to have myself circumcised at the age of 35 not for any medical reason but based on the esthetic beauty of a cut cock, I was living in the middle east at the time and felt it would also be more hygenic in a hot climate and this together with having recently married someone from south east asia who disliked the look of an uncut penis. I approached a doctor friend of mine who agreed to do the op and I duly had a general anesthetic , feeling very happy that I had made the decision, howevr after a few weeks of healing I noticed that there was still and amount of my original foreskin which persisted in half covering the head on my penis, this caused me to keep pulling the remaining foreskin back in order to feel comfortable which was not as nice as I had thought, did not look good and left me unsatisfied with the result.. After six monthst I decided to consult another surgeon who upon looking at it said that not enough of the foreskin had been removed the first time and suggested that he carry out a further op to cut the surplus foreskin from my penis. The day arrived and under a local anesthetic he set about cutting the remaining foreskin which I understand was called a high cut, I was able to watch the procedure and was fascinated by the further amount of skin that he removed. As soon as it healed I was delighted at the result and have never been so happy having it done, I admit there was some loss of sensation around the head but I got used to this and the fact that my masturbation technique which had previously included using the loose foreskin moving up and down over the head had to be adapted but I would not go back to having a foreskin and love the look and feel of being circumcised. Being a dedicated smooth nudist I love everyone to see I am cut and I feel it enhances my nudity even more than before together with all the hygenic benefits it has brought.
