Return to DiscussionsI love the fact that I'm circumcised too. I got cut 5 years ago, simply for personal choice and I love the way it looks and feels. There are still things that I do that I still think the last time I did this or went there, I had a foreskin. It also makes me smile to myself that there are other things I've done or people I've met who have only ever known me as being cut.
In a strange way being circumcised gave me the courage to be more open about being a naturist and to be more body confident. I don't know why I feel they are connected but I'm glad that I know have that confidence
I was circumcised when I was 4 for medical reasons, I went through a phase of being envious of other uncut men as they seemed to be much more sensitive then me, oral sex has been a big disappointment for me. Other than that I have accepted being cut and like being in the minority in the UK

I'm From the UK too and was circumcised when I was a baby also for medical reasons. Because it's not common in the UK when I was at school I was embarrassed about it and hated going in the showers after sports lessons. I was the only one that was circumcised and tried to hide it as it looked different, The older I got the more I realized that there was nothing to be embarrassed about and now I wouldn't want it any other way.
I love being circumcised and how it looks. I also like the fact that here in the UK we are in the minority. Not that think there is anything bad or wrong about uncut men as I'm not a judgmental type of person, but the way I see it, by being in the minority if I was standing in a line with say 10 other men in front of an audience, All of them naked including myself, the chance is pretty high I'm going to be the only one that is cut. They will more or less all look the same and I'll look different which makes me stand out and get the attention of the audience. So now I wouldn't find that embarrassing but would make me feel pretty special.
Does that make sense ? Was the best way I could think of to explain about how my views about me being circumcised have been flipped upside down.

That makes perfect sense, I like the fact being cut makes you 'stand out more' and find it opens up conversations with guys and like to hear their experiences and stories.
I like to be naked and have other guys see that I'm cut, I've only been on naturist beaches in the UK and Spain so most the guys on them are uncut so nice to be different.
Don't get me wrong I have nothing against uncut penises and find them fascinating to look at too .

I had a revision idiom when I was 20 to make it extra tight and I now have no skin movement at all. It was an easy decision to have our boys circumcised. I was circumcised as a boy, it was common practice back then. I'd say less than 1 in 10 men are circumcised in UK, so it's quite uncommon. Never bother me being in a minority, always used to go to sports clubs where they had open gang showers so nowhere to hide!
I've had nice comments about how it looks so no need to feel embarrassed.
Been to clubs/hot springs in US where its far more common, in fact I don't recall seeing a foreskin at all back then.
