How good is this weather for sunbaking and skinny dipping, unfortunately we have had a busy week so this was our first chance to get down to Cobblers. Todays attendance with the usual comings and goings peaked at 9 couples, 4 single ladies and lots of single guys while we were there between midday and 2.30pm. The sun was great, quite powerful to start with, then high light cloud which reduced some of the power but still provided warmth and drying power after a dip. The water temperature was not to everyones liking, but I loved it and so did my sore joints, half hour of water exercises as soon as we arrived, enjoyed some sun, had some lunch and then another dip for 20 minutes. I could have stayed longer but we had to rush off as my wife had an appointment to attend. Our picnic lunch was the usual fare that we have been enjoying since we started visiting Cobblers, chilled water, grapes, cubes of cheese, rice crackers and a home blended dip made with spreadable cream cheese, spicy capsicum dip (equal parts), 1 shallot, 6 parsley stalks, half a celery stick all finely chopped and a hardboiled egg mixed in. Sometimes we also may have a cabanossi stick or similar but not today.
We will try to get down there again over the weekend as this wonderful weather appears to be holding.
