Unfortunately, I'll be celebrating clothed :( The only solace is that days are now getting longer and warmer. With luck, the solstice will be spent outdoors naked!

I'm going to try and find a quiet spot, somewhere in the foothills and lie flat on the ground (like lying flat on the edge of a ball) and look up at the sky while felling the Earth.
It's going to be a sunrise/sunset in both the South Pole and the North Pole at the same time. Pretty cool when you think of it that way.

With the warm weather we're supposed to have this afternoon, feeling mother earth while gazing at the heavens above sounds like a great way to usher in the arrival of spring!
