The CW is home to several DC comic live action TV shows Flash, Supergirl, Black Lightening Legends of tomorrow making up what is casually called the Arrowverse. and Riverdale based on the Archie comic books. But Arrow was the show that started it all. CW has announced that this eighth season will be the last for the Arrow.

I have to admit I have gone back and forth on the like of the Arrow but the last 2-3 seasons I watched regularly. It felt to me after last season like they were running out of steam with stories and the characters. This expressed in the jump forward in to the future so I am ambivalent about the series ending.
