Return to Discussionsim curious to see if we could get a "takeover" of sorts at the cove. the more the merrier. i would leave the details to someone better at organizing such things but there are so many of us here in Florida that go to the cove, that it be nice to get as many as we can to meet there. everyone is welcome, the singles of both genders, couples, and families obviously. everyone is invited.
I am going to try to make it. I have to work that Saturday from 9:30pm until 6:00am Sunday so I would have to leave by about 6pm. I don't work Friday night so I could possibly drive up Friday and stay over if there is any accommodations available or drive up early Saturday morning and make it a day trip. I have never been there so this will be a good opportunity for me to check it out, plus I can share stories of the Houston WNBR from the previous Saturday. As of now, count me in. I will let you know if anything changes.
TRUE NUDISTS FRIENDS MEETUP AND MAKE NEW TRUE NUDISTS FRIENDS @ Cypress Cove Family Nudist Resort is September 21st. We will be meeting by the lake at NOON. This is in conjunction with the Naturist Society Festival September 20 - 22 . At this time, I have a count of 10 that will attend. With an additional 9 pending/undecided.
I will have a sign: TRUE NUDISTS FRIENDS HERE. Also, a Tampa Bay Free Beaches Flag. I will be wearing a Tampa Bay Free Beaches baseball cap. I plan on arriving around 10:30, I live in Port Charlotte. A 2 1/2 hour drive for me. If you have a necklace with your name on it, please wear it.
IMPORTANT: Cypress Cove will charge the normal DAY FEE. $28.00/person plus taxes and fees for a Supporting Member of a Approved Nudist Organization ( AANR, TNS, etc) $35.00/person plus taxes and fees for non-supporting members.
FIRST TIME VISITORS: GO TO THE CYPRESS COVE WEBSITE. Click on First-Time Visitors A first time visitor will be given a short tour. If you decide to stay after that tour, you have the option to stay or leave. There is a 1/2 price Coupon on their website for First Time Visitors.
ALL MALE FIRST TIME VISITORS MUST CALL IN ADVANCE FOR A BACKGROUND CHECK AND TO BE APPROVED. Sorry Men! Members of a Nudist Organization are more in favor.
Anyone that wants to book a room, Call Cypress Cove. Your room will cover all of your day fees. At no extra Charge.
BuddhistNudists is making wrist bands for the group to wear and to be identified. Also, she will bring wood for the fire pit for a S'Mores night. You need to supply your own S'Mores/ marshmellows. . THANK YOU!!! BRING ANY OF YOUR TRUE NUDISTS FRIENDS.
To clarify about the background check. When I called Cypress Cove to inquire about reserving tables by the pool, I was informed for First Time Male Visitors, the background check would be required.
If you are a First Time Male Visitor, call Cypress Cove. Better safe than sorry.

It has been brought to my attention, if you are an AANR member, you should have received with your membership card a few discounts. Including 2 nights at Cypress Cove 3rd night Free. Or, on same discount card, 1/2 Price on a Daily membership (Day Fee). You have to have this present and show at the gate. Then, you will be directed to go to the office to complete. I did this a couple of weeks ago.
It has been suggested to bring a folding chair.
Always, sit on a towel.
BYO food and drink. Also, for food and drinks is Cheeks Bar and Grill by the pool. For dinner, you have the remodeled Lakeside Restaurant.
Due to a Hurricane, it was remodeled.
It has been suggested that we eat together for dinner??? How many are in favor of this? Either at Cheeks or the Lakeside. Reservations would be needed at the Lakeside.
If anyone is interested in playing a game called: Right Left Center bring a roll of quarters. Some people like to play with $1's. It is played with 3 dice. A friend will bring the dice.
It has been suggested a bonfire for S'Mores. You have to supply your own stuff for this.
Frisbee is being brought by BuddhistNudists. Also, she is making ID wrist bands for us. THANK YOU!

If you like to fish, you can fish off of the docks. At No Charge, there is paddle boats, canoes, and kayaks to use on the lake. CC has 2 pools.
At the main pool, , there will be a DJ in the afternoon.
In the Lakeside Restaurant there will be a live band @ 7 PM.

I have made a reservation for the cabana by the lakeside. At this time, I am waiting for a confirmation.
I will have a sign: TRUE NUDISTS FRIENDS HERE down by the cabana. NEED HELP! Need someone to tie ribbons on the cabana post, chairs and loungers for the group on the early morning of September 21st. I won't be there until around 10:30.
