I am 65 and retired in June. last year I met up with a couple of folk from TN and it was nice to have someone to sit with. Drop me a friend request if you would like to keep in touch for the event. This year's event is scheduled for October 25, 2025. The line-up for this year consists of tribute bands for the following groups/singers: Willie Nelson (noon), Fleetwood Mac (1:15 PM), Santana (2:30 PM), Steely Dan (3:45 PM), Led Zeppelin (5:00 PM), and the Mod 60s. The Newsletter indicates tickets went on sale on August 1; however, they are not available until this weekend. The event is held in the grassy area near Brown Lake and is typically a fundraiser for various charities. We'll be there!
Our loss will be someone else's gain. I somehow had the wrong weekend down for Nude-a-Palooza and we booked a cruise for the Monday following what I thought was our stay as well as flights to Florida. Rather than change our flights and move our stay from Thursday-Monday to Friday-Tuesday, we rebooked for the weekend before Nude-a-Palooza and gave back our room for the concert weekend. So now somebody on the wait list will be able to get a room for Nude-a-Palooza. It will be our first missed concert since 2014 (not counting 2020 which was cancelled).
On the plus side, we get a bigger room at a lower rate (mid-season vs high-season) and will have more time to meet with friends who live at the Cove rather than catch up between sets at the concert.
