Clothing Donation Bin Dare

Return to Discussions

A friend of mine wants to do a dare with me. He would drive me to one of those clothing donation bins where I would strip naked and put the clothes in the bin. From there he would leave me there for a while, maybe drive me around naked or, if the bin was close enough make me walk back naked. Has anyone ever done anything like this?

RE:Clothing Donation Bin Dare

I haven't done this dare ... yet. But I'm planning on having the camera far enough away to capture full body shots AND the bin. I think the distance from the bin to the camera might be dictated by the circumstances, like location, possible traffic, roving security, etc. I plan on doing the dare after hours at the shopping center where the donation bin is located. Hopefully the parking lot will be mostly empty and I can chose my location for the camera that will be INSIDE my car... but each person doing the dare has to decide what is best for THEM.

Have you accomplished this yet?

Minimalist, due to some unfortunate health issues, I had to take a bit of an extended hiatus from this site. I'm BACK now and I'm pleased to see that this particular thread is still active! I still intend to complete this dare! Conditions should be "right" in the upcoming month of June. Evening temperatures here in the southern hemisphere MIGHT be a bit cool but that may just make for a QUICKER "strip-n-go". It is still my intention to document the event with a full set of photos!

Stay tuned!

Welcome back. Sorry to hear you had health issues but glad you are doing better.

RE:Clothing Donation Bin Dare

Minimalist, thank you for the welcome back.

I recently had occasion to actually use one of the donation bins at the shopping center near me, so I used the visit as a bit of a recon run for late in June when it will be time to do the ACTUAL dare. From my visit, I figure "distance to the bin from my car", for photography purposes will not be an issue nor a problem. I will be able to park directly in front of the bin, with enough distance to capture full body photos. My camera will be mounted on a tripod inside my car and activated by remote control. I will do a test run on that aspect of the dare soon. The one thing I have yet to determine is what, if any, security the shopping center has "after hours". An external, roving patrol MIGHT be a bit of a problem... but NOT insurmountable if they make regular "rounds"...???

I still find the dare exciting and I'm looking forward getting it done!

Won't it be chilly in June in Australia for being nude outdoors?

Minimalist, yes, the weather will have turned pretty chilly in the evenings by that time of year, here in the southern hemisphere, but I live on the east coast (about 3 hours north of Sydney) and our evening temperatures are usually in the 9 to 10 degree Celsius range That's between 48 and 50 degrees Fahrenheit. Like I mentioned, that may encourage a QUICK strip-and-donate activity...but I don't think that will be cold enough to actually prevent the event. Little Willie Jr. may not be much in evidence, though! LOL
