On the other hand, I have, three or four times, left my little bag with all my clothes and walked naked and without anything to put on in case of a meeting a few hundred meters, the kilometer to and from (except shoes for better walking). This creates both a certain anxiety and an impression of great freedom. When you feel good, you accompany this escapade with a long stop full of fullness.

I live rural and before the farmer cut down the hedge row and took out a culvert pipe, i had a farmer's lane across the road that provided enough privacy once the corn got tall enough for me to hike nude, often I would walk out my front door with nothing but Crocs on my feet and glasses on my face and hike down the lane until it came out behind his cow barn. It was about 3/4 mile out. To be that far from any clothes was a rush and also very freeing. Fog amplified sound, Walking under a tree just as two raccoons got into a noisy fight was heart stopping. The foundry about 4 miles away once opened its roof vent on morning with very low clouds. The reflected light made me think a 4 wheeler was coming up behind me with headlights on. One time I rode my mountain bike up the lane by the light of the setting full moon. Totally bare ass. Just where I normally turned around while on foot, I came upon a dead cow in the path while pedaling. I had to swerve to miss it. It would have been a hoot had i hit it and the farmer found a knocked out naked guy sprawled next to his dead cow when it got light. Over the years I was spotted a time or two by the farmer or his hired hands nothing was ever said.
Often, when hiking, I wil have clothing along in a backpack. The commitment to naked hiking is when the clothes go into the pack and cannot be retrieved if someone comes along - at leats not retrieved easily or without fumbling. As you note, this is the ultimate in freedom. If I pass anyone, I'll simply nod and say hello and keep walking.
My naked holiday cycling has normally been with clothing in my backpack but I have cycled without one and once with only my camera to take a picture.
The picture was about two miles from my clothes as the crow flies but the whole ride, including several photo stops was rather more and took about two hours. All my clothes were in the apartment with my wife sunbathing on the patio.
When our clothes are difficult to access, we can be caught off guard (except for a group of naturists often better accepted by textiles). In a forest area, it will be easy to get into the undergrowth for a while or to put something on.Personally, I have already encountered mushroom pickers close to a narrow path, But I kept going naked because they seemed more concerned about picking them than about me.
