Return to DiscussionsWhen I'm putting out the recycling or working in the front garden I haven't been worried about all the passing traffic as nobody gets a long enough look but I've recently become aware that I have probably been recorded on numerous dash-cams.
However, it certainly won't alter my naked habits.

It would be evidence in court and would be plenty to get you prosecuted if they showed it was a repeat thing and not an accidental forget to put on clothes incident.Not a violation of privacy being curbside and in public view from off your property.I went through a similar situation,Lawyers are expensive.Just saying.

Unfortunately, as with police forces everywhere, not all front-line officers follow the guidelines, so a little care is still wise.
Yes, I'd be very cautious, if I were you. As noted, lawyers are expensive, and I have a nudist acquaintance who was prosecuted for indecent exposure and spent beaucoups of bucks to avoid being branded a sex offender. I have retrieved the newspaper off the driveway while nude on occasion, but I know my neighbor's security cams aren't pointed my way, and I do it early in the morning when it's still dark.

Luckily I also belong to British Naturism whose legal team has a track record of successfully defending attempted prosecutions of members whose behaviour was perfectly legal according to the guidelines and the Crown Prosecution Service's advice.
There have been no successful prosecutions of members in the last ten years.
They do not defend aggressive or sexual acts like "flashing," masturbating in public or walking around with genitals hanging out of jeans.
Understand in Vermont , you can't be seen getting naked . But hide behind a wall , a bush , a tree , a large - enough rock boulder , and get naked . You can then openly appear naked to others . They see you naked , not getting naked . A very important detail .
In Vermont some locales haven't banned nudity but have banned disrobing in public. So if you can't disrobe in public, you can't be naked in public.
This seems to me very similar to the situation which I have heard reported about some US nudist clubs and camp grounds where you are not allowed to disrobe beside your car but must go to a changing cubicle and then take your clothes back to your car after disrobing.
