Nude Hiking (jogging really)
Return to DiscussionsI stopped by a local nature area on my home from work where I have had good luck going for a nude stroll through the woods. There were no cars in the parking lot, so thinking I had the place to myself, off came the clothes and I hit the trail. After walking for a bit to warm-up, I started jogging. Cresting a hill, I saw a man walking his dog. After a second of panic, I kept going and said hey as I went by. He saw me and said whoa. I continued for a bit and then stopped to put on my shorts in case there were more people out there and finished my jog, dressed and went home.

If you had shorts and I assume shoes on, what additional dressing did you do to go home? I usually drive shirtless in shorts in warm weather.
I enjoy both driving naked, and hiking naked. A few weeks ago, I stopped at this pull off, at the top of this ridge, in the Pisgah National Forest, and the pull off, had room for 5-6 cars, but it was a week day, and usually not many people are up there on this gravel road, so I got out, and started hiking on the forest service road. After about an hour, I turned back, when I noticed this guy pushing his mtn. bike , coming towards me. It is not illegal, to just be nude, in the national forest, so I kept walking towards him, when I got to him, he said hello, and .."where are yours clothes at friend'? I explained to him I was a nudist, and just enjoyed being nude out in the forest. To my surprise, he began chatting with me, and was not at all offended that he had come across me naked. After 10-15 minutes, he told me, he needed to ride on to meet up with another group of bikers, but told me he often rode that trail, and he would look for me again, as I told him I enjoyed hiking that trail often. So far....I have never had a negative reaction, when people see me out hiking nude. I sure wish more people would enjoy it.
I enjoyed doing clifftop walks in the Algarve, Portugal. We walked for miles naked. One march I walked along the clifftop from one nude beach to another. I knew them both well. Being March (and outside the tourist season) I was caught out when descending to the second beach. It was fairly packed and everyone saw me coming down naked. Then I realised that they were all fully clothed. They'd seen me so I just walked on, down to the beach and through the crowd.
