Return to DiscussionsIndependence Day is upon us once again. Our town sets off the fireworks show less than a block from the house, so we just sit in the yard and watch (and hope the cinders are cool by the time they land on us).
I'm thinking I might just sit out there tonight naked and watch the show -- depends on if any friends come over. I will let you know how it goes and if I'm able to watch the show naked.
Last night, after the bugs stopped biting, I was out on our front deck, about 15 feet from the road, naked watching the fireworks. We have some chairs on the deck, so they blocked some of the view from the street.
When I first started thinking about watching them nude, I thought "It will be dark, who'd be able to see anything?" I forgot completely about the bright flashes when theyexplode -- and being so close to them, the flashes were even brighter! It was fun to sit there nakedfor about half of the 30 minute show.
