Return to DiscussionsI am staying with an Airbnb host for a couple of days. He is a massage therapist and lives alone. Last night we chatted a bit and shared some travel and life stories. I mentioned that I was a nudist and had hot tub soaks with my guests. This morn I got up before him and had just sat down to a bare breakfast when he came out. His immediate reaction was " woa too much man". So I wrapped my towel around myself and ducked back to my room for some clothes. Oh well I tried. I did apologize and he brushed it off.
It can be hard to read someone's reaction to a conversation about nudity. His acknowledgment of your ways at your house apparently didn't translate to acceptance to do the same at his. I guess we should all wait for explicit invitation to drop trou. Nice that it wasn't such a big deal to him in the end.
