Saunton Sands access via Crow Point
Return to DiscussionsIs this better way to Saunton than via the north end of the beach and the crowded car parking. Is there a board walk ?

Yes, this is a better way, although I always go to the Sandy Lane car park (cost 2.00 at the moment) and walk directly west to the beach across Braunton Burrows. Usually stripping off as I walk.

Is that via the toll road as this is the end I would go and sound a lot cheaper as well against the Saunton end.

No it's not using the toll road, not sure what that costs now. but if you continue past the toll road for about a mile, turn left then the Car Park is on the right about a further half mile along the road.
