Donald Ducking
This group is for all those nudists who also enjoy being nude only from the waist down, at home or everywhere. Donald Ducking is a reference to the Disney character who is the only one without pants, and as we can see no underwear too. Return to DiscussionsI had never heard of Donald Ducking until I found this group--what an apt name! Like most of us on
TN, my preference is naked, but the other day it was below zero and windy outside and I just felt chilled, so I left my tee on while I was making supper.
I have a neighbor who knows I'm a nudist and is cool with it. When I know it's him at the back door, I just answer, however undressed I am. So that night he knocks, I answer in just my tee and invite him in as he returns something his wife borrowed. We exchange pleasantries and then he looks at me quizzically and says "I never got into that look of just wearing a shirt." I thought it was funny because when I'm totally bare he never comments at all. I explained that it's really "a thing" and that it's called Donald Ducking. He nodded understanding of the connection.
So he learned something new, I could use my new knowledge gained here, and I think that's the first time he ever commented on my choice of clothing! Oh, being a nudist is fun.

Oh to have such understanding neighbors. It's DEFINITELY "Donald Ducking" weather here in the Northeast this time of year. I dunno why, but my upper body is always the first part of me to chill.
I do think that Donald Ducking draws attention to the naked genitals more than being completely naked. When I first saw it I thought WHY? But now I know it's a practical solution for a nudist when it's cold.
