It's not Donald Ducking if you find it erotic. Donald Duck was not an erotic figure nor demonstrated any arousal.
Walking around with no pants on, just for the eroticism would be a disorder most likely. At best you are just half dressed, and if you find that erotic, you are not a True Nudist. Just joining a website called TrueNudists does not make you a "true" nudist, I am sorry to say.
Donald Ducking is a quaint description for a form of dress or half-dress, but should engender no more of a visual than it does on Disney. For a true nudist this form of dress is just practical or convenient. You may want to shield your shoulders from sunburn, you may be doing a task that is just a bit too messy to want to be exposing your skin, the temperature may have dropped just enough to feel a chill, or you may have a morphology and/or physiology that feels comfortable at even low temperatures as long as the torso is warm.
Some people have said their genitals get as cold as their chest, so they dress all over at the same time. I personally find it more comfortable to keep the lower half cooler and the top half warmer and welcome the breeze.
To propose that it is a way to focus on the genitals is not a nudist trait, it is exhibitionism. True nudists don't focus on any part of the body, they accept people as they are in any shape and colour, with or without scars, rolls, or even limbs. Nudism is about sharing the natural feeling of undress with others of like mind, not about display, advertising, promoting, shocking, focusing, alluring, exhibiting or any form of sexual gratification.

I agree with your view of donald ducking, but don't care for your orthodox views of "true nudism." Who made you the authority? How do you define "of like mind?" Where is the line between the natural feeling of undress and exhibiting or sexual gratification? Like anything, nudists need to claim a healthy balance between freedom and responsibility. Talk of "true nudism" however takes on the unfortunate tone of religiousity, and then I look for the exits, Nor does it tend to be inclusive for youth.
