Downderry Beach Near Plymouth Devon
Unofficial Nudist beach near Plymouth. Lovely location plenty of discreet areas to nestle down in. Mostly used by local naturists who know it. Few textiles but again, mostly locals. This has been a naturist beach for nearly 100 years. Beach is not easily accessible at high tide, risk of being cut off from main village. Coastal path access via steep climb

How friendly are the locals these days?
Return to DiscussionsHi all...I havent been to Downderry for 2 years now and keep wanting to go back (I live in Plimuff). I have heart, however, that there is a lot of resistance to the nudist beach these days and some locals have resorted to letting their dogs mess the beach. Can anyone comment - is that happening...are the locals getting grumpy?
