How dedicated are you to driving nude?
Return to DiscussionsForgive me but I will be asking this in all the driving nude groups I am in.
I started thinking about this the other day when I was on the way to work and pulled over at my usual spot to take off my cloths.
During the cooler months, usually late November through Mid-March, I have to add about 15 minutes to my commute to allow for time to undress and redress before getting to my destination.
Summer is not so bad because I can go out to the car in just shorts which I take off before getting on my way.
I have been doing this going to and coming from every job I have had since about 1985.
I do not remember the last time I drove to work with cloths on.
I there anyone else who drives nude on a regular bases that you cannot imagine not driving nude?
We drive nude as much as possible. Now having a RV makes it even easier to do. Having the large window in front of us isn't really a problem due to reflections and usually the distance from other traffic. On coming vehicles seem to not notice or we pass so quickly, not a problem.
I used to be obsessed with driving naked. I'd slip on and slip off clothes for 10 mins or less, between errand stops, just to drive naked. I stopped doing that a while back and planned my errands so I finished and had a longer naked drive home. I drove to and from work, naked, for 32 years.
I've been driving naked since 1971. I enlisted in the Navy and would drive two hours from my base/ship to home and back again when I had the chance to do so. Later, my ship moved home ports from San Diego to San Francisco and I'd drive naked on that route as well. I drove and continue to drive naked quite often and there are times when my wife will remind me that I still have clothes on if we're headed on a long enough drive to do so. She says I drive much better when I'm naked.
When we're in our motorhome, I'm almost always naked while driving and she is either in one of my sport shirts or one of her sheer dresses. We used to worry about the big trucks and buses but not anymore. We just drive as normal and not pay attention to whether they can see us. If they do, so be it. We both have things we slip on for gas stops, though I'm usually the only one out of the coach to fill up. Most times, we used the onboard toilet for restroom stops and she has food ready so we don't have to stop for food. Our cars are high profile and have dark tinted windows. I have a pair of sheer shorts I slip on for gas stops and we always use the drive thru for food. She will just close the shirt she's wearing when we pick up our food.
Just to clarify, do you go through the drive thru naked , or in your shorts?Ive often thought of getting the food nude but wondered if its too risky in the US..
I have and do, most of the time. Here in So Cal, it's not uncommon to see a man driving around without a shirt on. If it's warm enough, I'll drive thru for our food order and no matter who is handing me the food and drinks, they don't even bat an eye. If it's cold, I'll usually wear a flannel shirt unbuttoned but that's not too often. But our cars are high profile and I'm either at the same height or higher than those at the pick up window.
I finally did it, but only opened my window part way. The lady handed me the food with a huge smile. Not sure if she could see anything as weve chatted before and I always get a nice smile when I see her. My car is low so a fully open window would show everything. Maybe next time Ill open the window all the way
If you're naked in your car, simply being comfortable and NOT lewd, it should not be an issue. Here in So Cal, I have it on very good authority that you will not be cited nor will law enforcement even respond if someone reports that you are driving naked. If they do not report that you are being lewd, then they will respond but simply driving naked will not get law enforcement to respond. It's the same with being naked in your own backyard. You have an expectation of privacy and if you've taken reasonable precautions to not be seen but are seen, law enforcement will not respond or if they do, you will mostly likely not be cited.
We drive high profile vehicles with tinted windows. We drive these high profile cars, mainly, so that we sit a little higher than other cars and have better visual of traffic. Even then, if I am next to a school bus, I will usually cover just out of an abundance of caution, even though I'm 99.9% certain I can't be seen. On longer naked drives, I'll usually put a sarong down on the seat and use that to flip over on my lap to cover but I rarely do that.
I just drove through the drive thru, yesterday, for Taco Tuesday. A local place has the best street tacos for $1.50. I, too, see the same woman and young woman at the window each time. I think if they saw me with a shirt on, they'd probably be surprised! I drove there without any clothes that I took from home. I do keep an Earthquake Bag of clothes and shoes for both my wife and I in my Jeep, should the need arise. They are in a duffle in the cargo space. If I had an emergency, I could always retrieve the bag and slip on something.
I did drive my work vehicle back and forth to work but stopped doing that after I rolled up on a traffic collision on the freeway. I had to slip on shorts and a shirt, get out, open my trunk and get my safety gear on. I'm certain lots of people on the freeway, that morning, were wondering what the hell I was doing! ;DDD

Ran some errands today and then made a trip to the winery to pick up our shipment, then to the market and then to pick up some to go pizza and sandwich at a favorite restaurant! All naked driving between stops! The last stop, my wife hopped out and got the food and remained naked parked across the street. When she came out, I rolled up and picked her up! Drove home naked and unloaded the car. Neighbors houses across the street were closed up tight with the shutter closed so unloading naked was a breeze!
