Yes I had stopped at rest area between 10 & 11 pm it was dark. I was chatting on line w a friend. I was also naked. All of a sudden it was broad daylight! Cop flashlight. Long story short ran my license told me to cover up and go home .

No, but I do take extra care with speed and so on to avoid a stop. Random breath testing stations, where they may stop everyone coming through are something I've yet to encounter in that state.

I suspect police like the surprise of the sudden lightbeam in the face of their target in the dark. The momentary surprise gives them a psychological advantage to start with, I guess. I was subjected to it once and resolved that if it ever happened again I'd try not to be thrown off balance by the tactic.

I was sitting at a laundry mat in my truck nude when they pulled up. Came up to my truck to see if I had seen anyone messing with the coin exchange inside. They didn't have a flashlight but was enough light to see me. I covered up with a telephone book I had in the cab and luckily it was dark in that area.
