Return to DiscussionsI have decided to start keeping track of my naked mileage. A week ago, I went to Sequoia National Park, and decided to go most of the way on Friday so as to get there early Saturday. I made a pit stop at Enoch Christofferson Rest Area near Turlock, and it was getting dark, but still too early and too far away to stop for the night, so I pushed on. Because it would soon be dark, I knew no one would see me in the car -- soon not even truckers -- so I stripped naked. I drove naked to C.H. Worley Rest Area near Kingsburg. 104 miles according to Google maps, plus I overshot it by a few miles and had to backtrack.
So that is my benchmark personal best. I might keep a separate daytime personal best, since daytime requires more boldness and more specific conditions than night.
Okay, so now I have a daytime record -- I had had a job interview at Lupin Lodge naturist resort in Los Gatos, and since I was nude for the last interviewer, I decided to stay that way. From there to Vallejo where I had to turn in the rental car was 81 miles. That included going through Milpitas to get to Interstate 680. (Gotta love these Fast Track bridge tolls -- no stopping at the toll booth.)
This beats my previous records: a few years ago, I had camped at China Hat in the Deschutes National Forest, Oregon, and then drove through Sun Pass State Forest. I wasn't nude for most of it, though -- only after passing Diamond Junction; so that only gave me 37 miles nude. If I had been nude starting from China Hat, then it would stand as the record -- it would have been 118 miles.
Incidentally, my house rule is: it only counts if it is uninterrupted. If you drive a total of 150 miles, but at the 75 mile mark you put shorts on to get gas -- you did two 75-mile nude drives, not a 150-mile nude drive.
I've probably driven naked over 20k miles, and probably 10k bottomless before then. Unfortunately I don't get the chance for long single drives though as my wife is always with me when I go on long journeys, and I'm not allowed to be naked when she's with me

I don't drive nude at all for a similar reason. When driving alone I am usually in my convertible and I would rather have my shorts on and top off than the other way around and am not bold enough to do both. Would drive the van nude if I got the opportunity in a light traffic area. More than once when we were in the van together my wife has complained about being cold. I have offered to turn the air conditioner off if I take my shorts off, but even then she doesn't want me to. Another deal that I didn't really mean did work. She used to encourage me to put a shirt on when she had company. I eventually told her if she stopped asking me to put a shirt on, I wouldn't start asking to take my shorts off. While I wouldn't actually do it, she got the message and stopped asking. Similarly when my sons would complain that my shorts were too short or my swimsuit too brief, Saying of you don't like what I am wearing I will take it off got them quiet in a hurry.

US is less nudity tolerant than UK, France and Germany.

I don't have the exact same garments since this was several years ago, but I do have similar ones.

Having trouble copying pictures from my hard drive to the medial page in my profile. Can anyone give me some pointers?
