A lot of firsts on my drive up north for the Buffalo naked bike ride
Return to DiscussionsA few things on my trip from Vero Beach to The clothing optional campground in Angelica, NY.
I took my shorts off and was nude before I left the driveway. I wanted to see just how far I could go nude.
Here are some stats:
Total distance--1346 miles
Total driven nude--1346
Total with any kind of clothing or cover up--0
Total gas stops--5
Total done nude--5
Total clothed--0
I did a gas stop at 9:30 pm just south of Brunswick GA with the store still open and one at 9am on Rt 15 in daylight. I have a crappy video of that I will post when I get home next week.
Bathroom breaks:
Pee stops, about 12 all done nude including one where I got out of the car nude on I-270 coming out of DC with heavy traffic. I walked around the back of the car to the passenger side, opened both doors and stood in between them to pee.
Shit stoops--0 No rest area stops this trip.
Truckers flashed. I drive very slowly past them with the passenger window and sunroof open. Got a few honks and thumbs up. no negative reaction.

Did you bring all the food and drinks you needed or go through drive through nude?
I normally don't eat or drink much on my road trips.
I did bring 4 bottles of my "Traveling Cocktail" 20 oz bottle with half cranberry juice and half Monster energy drink, plus the ultimate road trip food--grapes!
I normally do not stop for food, but by 10pm I realized that the only thing I ate in the past 24 hours was bacon and 2 eggs at 10 that morning, so I stopped at an Arby's and got a couple roast beef sandwiches (one of the few fast food items I will eat.
Update on my trip. I am ready for the naked bike ride this afternoon at 4pm. It looks like my sister and sister in law (Brother's wife) will be there to watch. First time either one of them has seen me nude, but they have seen me many times in a speedo. We met my sister and brother in law last night for dinner and she sent me an email later commenting on how dark my tan is and is looking forward to seeing my speedo tan line. I hope she is not disappointed in my all over tan. I figure at that point the cat is out of the bag about me being a nudist.
Update on my trip up north. I am going to try to do this entire trip with NO clothed gas stops at all. I need to fill the tank before heading to Central NY on Wednesday or Thursday and I think I found a gas station that will work for that. There is a gas station in Central NY that i filled up nude before so I can top off the tank before heading home. This will probably involve at least 1 daylight gas stop so it will be interesting if I can pull it off.
