I do a lot of long distance driving... most of it in the day time. There are times I do end up driving late at night. These are the times I will drive naked... Last week, returning from Carlsbad to OKC, my drive extended into late night early morning. Needless to say a moonless night west of Wichita Falls, the roads were not busy. The clothes were binding after about 5 hours already on the road, and I had to answer Mother Nature. I know the roads fairly well and saw this small county road ahead and pulled off and down about 300 feet...
I got out and stretched and began shedding clothes and securing my running shorts and a loose fitting button down shirt and sandals. After getting naked, and talking with Mother Nature for a minute or so, I enjoyed the beautiful clear moonless sky, miles away from city lights, entirely naked. It was a great break from driving and getting the blood flowing - it was about 11 PM. Traffic zoomed by, behind me, oblivious to my presence naked to the world...
Always being a bit prepared, I arranged my clothes so I could get covered should I need to... I had just tanked up, so I wouldn't need to refuel, but once I got on the toll road I knew the only relief stations were at designated stops, so I would have to cover at those place.
With 200 more miles to go and 4 cities to drive through and 3 toll booths (I've got a pike pass), I was back in the truck naked as a J-bird and on my way.
It was a pleasurable drive, not being bound up by the clothes and the seat belts... made the drive with one stop at the toll designated break stop... one lady walking her dog stared as I was slipping on my shirt. I suppose she was wondering why I was shirtless... she was turned away as I pulled my shorts up... LOL... I can only imagine her thoughts had she seen me doing that... and there were no other vehicles in the lot except for some big rigs...
I made it home through all of the booths, and past the bright lights of the city, safely to my back yard and garage...
Stepped out and stretched and went in to wind down and get some sleep...
