Around here it seems if a woman was caught doing it she was just out being wild and having fun, If a Man does it he's a creep and most likely Sex Offender!
I drive nude often sometimes Im abit more aware of the possibility of others seeing and sometimes not. I usually keep a pair of shorts that are easy to slip on. Ive driven nude in the states from Florida to Pennsylvania on I-95 and from Norfolk, VA to western NC with no problems. I think is best to keep a pair of short that are easy to slip on nearby. It just issued peace of mind thing. Not usually needed.
Sometimes I sit on a towel or sarong with enough fabric loose on the side that I can flip it over my middle. Mostly I just keep a pair of shorts or sweatpants on the passenger seat that I place over my middle (like they're on) when a bus passes. They're handy to slip on when fueling up, etc.
When i have i've sat on a towel and had a pair of gym shorts nearby to slip on if needed. I always drive with a shirt on (donald ducking) since I don't like the seatbelt strap on my bare chest so not many would know if i was bottomless if going by.
I do it without any cover within reach.But you do live in the UK which is more tolerant of nudity than most US states.
True and I've driven naked in many European countries who are equally tolerant.
Definitely try to sit on some type of cloth - it sucks to stick to the leather
I drive on a towel for this reason. It is tucked in under the seat so is not available to wrap around me, but it is so much more comfortable than leather.
