Return to DiscussionsI'm happy to see new members joining this group all the time. But I'm kind of disappointed that the responses are too few and far between. (as they are in most of the groups). Maybe when a new member joins, they should be required (god I hate that word!) to introduce themselves with a few words about why they joined, what they like about this group and other info. That might generate a few comments and more involvement for the whole group. I sure hope so. I'd love reading others posts and commenting on them. So.. for starters, I guess I should start the ball(s) rolling. I started driving nude about 20 some years ago when I worked the evening shift in the city. I'd strip off and drive the 35 miles home and it felt so great I did it summer and winter. cranking the heat up in the car until it was comfy, then pulling off onto the shoulder to strip down and drive home totally nude, shoes and all. Guess that's it til i check back and see if anyone else wants to submit or reply.
I've been driving home from work (about 35 miles) almost everyday for the past several months (I don't do it in bad weather due to the potential for accidents). I drive about a mile from work where they are tearing down an old housing project (somewhat deserted) and strip down there to just a pair of sneakers. I drive through town and get on the interstate highway then through town again to a commuter parking lot where I put my clothes back on (my neighbors are not appreciative of the naked body) before entering my neighborhood. I keep a pair of loose fitting gym shorts tucked under the driver seat in the event I should have to rapidly re-attire (i.e., get pulled over). Lately, I have been using a Flip video camera to record the entire trip and have cut out the "interesting" frames and posted them to my profile (ones with people and other cars visible through my window while driving naked). I will periodically change the ones that are posted as I obtain more interesting shots.

First time i did it was years ago from Los Angeles to Las Vegas. I stripped off once in the desert and it was indeed so liberating and a joy to feel the sunshine warm up my body. I wish fears of cops was not part of our life, but it unfortunately is. However would love to find a bud to do that with often.
Last time i did it was 2 years ago when i drove from CA to Canada. I had a short handy near me in case a truck would be close to my car. You never know who could call the cops if they would see you and felt it was their business. So a short handy near me easy to put on in case something gets freaky.
I work evening at my job,so after getting off of work and right after getting on the highway,I pull over and get nude and drive home,it's only 20 minutes,but wow just the way it makes you feel is awsome! I never knew i could feel so good.And when I get home I just pull into my attached garage and walk in nude and enjoy the rest the of my evening nude and refreshed!
The first time I drove nude was at night and on the highway. I'm not sure if I was ACTUALLY looking to experience the feeling of nude driving as it would relate to social nudity, or if I was simply trying to stay awake on a very long drive. It is easy for these memories to fade some time after they have occurred.
I do recall driving through most of northern New Mexico on Interstate 40 at night nude and having a fantastic time doing it. The air coming into my car a swirling all around, the lights of passing vehicles and knowing even the truck drivers could look down and not see me all combined to make it sensational.
Years later I even drove nude in the late afternoon with my wife in the car! We were heading home from a trip and as I tired I told her it was too warm and I was getting drowsy. I said, "I will do anything to cool down and stay awake even if it means taking these clothes off!" and she did not object. If I recall the car either did not have an air conditioner or it was not working. I think it was a really low horsepower four cylinder (econo-car) and the only time we drove it on long trips was during the cooler times of year. This time it was early Spring and had somehow gotten much warmer than anyone expected. So after a few minute of indecision and "mental anguish" (i.e. is it safe? who will see? where are the 'speed traps'?) I decided to go ahead and slip off my shorts and underwear. The feeling was, as I had experienced it before, wonderful!!
Guys, you know what I am talking about when on a long road trip and the scenery doesn't change mile after mile. The music is boring and the task of concentrating on the road and other vehicles become monotamous? I often begin to feel hot "down there", cramped and constricted and if this continues for any amount of time it can drive a person "loopy"! I mean, "Arrrrghhh!" --- It is like once you have tried it and know that it simply does not have to be that way, you crave being able to do it again.
It is not about being an exhibitionist, getting aroused or anything; though those temptations are sometimes there also. It is about hanging out, "breathing" and letting the "boys" get cool. I suppose some of the nudist ladies COULD feel that way also, but I have not had an opportunity to discuss it with any of them. It just never came up during the course of in-person conversations.
I will occasionally drive nude. There are two kinds of circumstances. The first is if I have spent the day at the beach or a club and cannot bare (pun intended) getting dressed. The second is sometimes, it's just fun to be daring like coming home from the grocery store or after picking up fast food. I work from home and, luckily, get to spend most of my day naked (when it's warm enough). Those quick jaunts when I have to cover up, but know I'm heading home, I sometimes like to shed the cloth for the freedom and, i confess, the thrill.
