Return to DiscussionsComing home last night at. 0400 am. Done with work, stripped down for the ride home and maybe a walk before arriving. Thought of doing the 2 mile walk along the river. A dark thirty it's easy to notice those blue and red lights behind. I slowed to let them pass, but they apparently were for me. Light brakes to acknowledge there request. At the same time getting my shorts in hand to put on. The customary creating for papers and whhat was going on. Let him know that I finished a run for the contractor and was going home. Wallet was under seat and needed to get out to reach it. Always let them know what you need to do. He backed up to allow me to get it. After, I sat back in the car. He noted my A class license. Then went to his car to check on my history. Came back good and told to have a good night. Reason for the stop? A taillight was intermittent. A good reason to see who is on the road at quiet times. Decided to go home without the walk as I haven't walked at that time before. Now closer to 5am. Still enjoy the free driving when I can. By the way he was in. A New dodge charger. New to their fleet.
I rarely drive naked primarily because I rarely drive more than 15 minutes or so and its all in suburbia. It wasnt a traffic stop per se but year before last I was going out to Laguna Del Sol and decided to drive naked. I had my towel and shorts set so I could cover if needed and did a few times for tall vehicles pulling up next to me at lights. I remember having a great day. A couple weeks later I get a ticket in the mail. Id been caught by a red light camera! I remember the situation and it was one of those where I either attempt to make it or screech the tires trying to stop. Obviously I didnt make it. The pictures were clearly me shirtless and otherwise the dash was covering the rest! I wonder what would happen if the pictures showed more?

I've just been worrying about a similar situation. Last month my route home was blocked and I had to take a detour. I ended up driving past a mobile speed camera and was convinced I was going too fast. Although it was a 3 lane motorway, I had been behind a car doing slightly less than me, so I accelerated to overtake it without taking forever.
My problem was that I drive a company car, so the ticket - and photo - would have gone to work. Not good. Thankfully no ticket has arrived so it looks like I don't have any explaining to do
