Driving to a nude resort with no clothes for cover up
Return to DiscussionsI always drive nude when going to visit a nudist resort. Like others have said, if is great leaving the house naked and arriving naked at your nudist destination. The one resort I try to visit every summer is about a four and half hour drive travelling on a rural highway going through many small towns. I always drive there and back naked and usually spend a weekend. The 9 hour drive really extends the time I am able to be naked and I do this drive when it is light. The other resort where I get to more often is about a half hour drive and is mostly along a four lane divided highway with some rural roads and a small town that you go through. Whenever I drive nude, including when going to a nude resort, I always bring a pair of shorts and a t-shirt with me for quick cover up or if I have to stop for gas on longer trips such as my my 4.5 hour nude drive to the resort further from my place. I have however, been thinking about not bringing any clothes with me on a visit this summer to the resort that is closer to where I live. I think it would be so great to leave the house naked, drive to the resort and spend a glorious day nude and then drive back nude with no ability to cover up with anything the whole time that you are miles from home. Would love to hear if others have done this.
On the 4.5 hour trip, you could still do it without taking ANY clothes with you by bringing along some additional gas cans. The day before your trip, fill them up when you fill your tank and top off with them after you arrive at the resort. Then you have a full tank for the return trip and no need to stop at a fueling station. By now you have made the trip enough times to know about how much gas you will need to do it, so just bring a few additional gallons(above that amount) to be totally sure of having enough.
Have never left minimal clothing behind. Got to be prepared for a traffic accident or some other unplanned situation.
Minimal clothes could be just shorts. I have been stopped for minor traffic infractions when I was just wearing shorts and nothing was said about my lack of a shirt. I you get in a minor accident, it would probably be the same. If it is serious enough that you are injured, what you are or are not wearing would probably not be a concern.
I haven't been to a nude resort but I have done a nude hike with about a 20 minuet drive where I had no cloths with me at all as I got into the car nude without anything at all to cover me up and hope to do a longer one this year again hoping to leave all the cloths home and bight go to a beach so if I have to stop I will have nothing to cover up with.
I planned a nude driving trip from Atlanta to a nudist club in north Florida and I knew Id need to gas up along the way so I planned to bring shorts and tee shirt. Planning to leave at 4:00 am I had all my camping stuff in the truck before I hit the sack at 9:00 pm and jumped up about 9:10 realizing i hadnt packed the clothes. They were still in the clothes dryer and probably would have forgotten them. At 9:15 am. I got up and put them in the car in the front seat to make sure. I would have been in rural south Bible Belt Georgia without gas and naked. Always be prepared: flashlights, jack, spare tire , tools, road flares or reflectors, charged phone and clothes. My thinking is dont leave home without them.

If you were only stopping for gas, just shorts might have been enough.

Rural South Bible Belt Georgia was the first place I ever saw a highway billboard advertising a fully nude strip club. When I think of that part of the world, I think of Larry the Cable Guy.
Why take any clothes when visiting a nude resort? Every good nudist takes a towel to sit on. That could be used in an emergency.
I was stopped at a driver sobriety check road block coming home from our local naturist club with my son. I had put on the towel when I saw the cars stopped ahead. When one of the officers saw me in a towel, he asked if I had anything on underneath. I told him we had just been to the local nudist club and were on the way home, and I showed him my membership card. A second officer asked my son to step out of the car (he was wearing jeans), and both a male and female officer interviewed him out of my hearing. Eventually, my son got back in the car, and the first officer told me I could continue home. He said driving without clothes probably wasn't a good idea.
